A souvenir shop in an old tram
If you want to take home an original souvenir from your trip in Zagreb, make sure to visit the new souvenir shop which you will find in an old renovated tram in front of the Technical Museum on Savska Street.
If you want to find out what the trams in Zagreb looked like in the 1970s, or buy a model of it as a souvenir, you can now do so at the souvenir shop in front of the Technical Museum on Savska Street. One such old tram was placed there and renovated by the Zagreb Electric Tram (ZET) company in order to become its first souvenir shop. The shop was opened in cooperation with the City Council and the Zagreb Tourist Board.
Conceived as ZET’s tourism novelty, the souvenir shop was opened with the goal of better promoting Zagreb’s public transport system, as well as the city’s identity itself. Visitors of all ages on a trip in Zagreb will find original souvenirs depicting motifs of the city and its emblematic trams to take home to their friends and loved ones. Apart from buying small gifts, visitors to the shop can also get information about ZET’s services, and follow current traffic conditions in the city via info screens.
On working days, the souvenir shop is open between 9 a. m. and 9 p. m., while on weekends it works between 10 a. m. and 6 p. m.
Apart from the new souvenir shop in front of the Technical Museum, souvenirs can also be purchased at ZET’s ticket sales office on Preradovićeva Street, where passengers can also find an information desk.
