These tailor-made three or four-day programmes combine a sightseeing tour of Zagreb with a visit to its surroundings.
As it was announced by the Zagreb Tourist Board, the goal of the City Breaks Zagreb project was to provide potential visitors with one place to get well organized and clear information about the sightseeing possibilities of the city and its surroundings. The creators of the programme did not forget those who want to see more, so they offer packages that include one-day excursions to Opatija or Slavonia. While the City Breaks Zagreb page, which is available in English, already includes programmes from seven tourist agencies, the list of attractive excursions into Zagreb’s past and present is not conclusive as listings are expected to come from other tourist agencies as well.
