On February 3rd, the Močvara Club will be the venue for a concert by the American drone metal band, Earth – the pioneers of this music genre.

The band was founded in 1989 in Seattle by guitarist Dylan Carlson, who was fascinated by loud, long and slow sounds in low (bass) frequencies. The band’s current line-up consists of drummer Adrienne Davies and Bill Herzog on electric bass guitar.

The band’s latest album, “Primitive and Deadly”, features guest performances by numerous renowned musicians from the independent rock scene, such as Mark Lanegan, Brett Netson of the band Built to Spill, Rabia Shaheen Qazi of the band Rose Windows, and Jodie Cox of the band Narrows. This was the first time the band Earth ventured into the pop genre, which has enabled them to obtain new musical achievements.

The opening acts for this concert will be the American bands Black Spirituals and Don McGreevy.
The organizer of the Earth concert is the Žedno Uho Club.
