An exhibition of Croatian design 0910.
Offering an overview of the best works of design created over the past two years, the Museum of Arts and Crafts will feature the “Exhibition of Croatian Design 0910”, in which almost three hundred design solutions will be presented to the public.
Until October 24th, an “Exhibition of Croatian Design 0910” will be held at the Museum of Arts and Crafts. The exhibition features the best works by artists from the field of design production, which have been created over the past two years.
These pieces will give the Zagreb audience the opportunity to gain an insight into the newest design production in Croatia. Aside from the main exhibition, there will also be concurrent specialist lectures. Of the 515 submitted works from the fields of graphic design, product design, and design for electronic media, this exhibition features a total of 288 selected designer pieces; 216 of those are in the category of professional works, while 72 are student works.
Within the field of graphic design, the most numerous submissions belong to the subcategories of posters, visual identity, design of books, magazines, catalogues and other promotional materials, as well as design of packaging, typography and illustration. The remaining submitted works belong to the fields of exhibition and showroom design, space graphics and, most interestingly, signalization. A high standard of production has been reached in these various subcategories and an international jury has announced the best works in each of the seven categories for professionals, as well as the five categories for students.
