An International Festival of Documentary Film

Between February 22nd March 1st, the Cineplexx Centre Kaptol cinema will be the venue for the 11th International Festival of Documentary Film ZagrebDox, featuring an array of familiar as well as new programmes showing more than 150 of the best documentaries from the whole world.

Following ten successful editions, the 11th International Festival of Documentary Film ZagrebDox will feature a very diverse programme. The festival will take place between February 22nd March 1st at the Cineplexx Centar Kaptol cinema and over 150 documentaries will be shown to the audience.

Although ZagrebDox is largely responsible for the increasing interest in documentary film, its diverse programme has been attracting numerous visitors since day one. Since the festival’s beginning, ten years ago, more than two hundred thousand people have watched more than fifteen thousand films.

Apart from international and regional competitions, ZagrebDox also offers an array of familiar official programmes, such as Biographic Dox, Music Globus, Happy Dox, Controversial Dox, Masters of Dox, the State of Things, Teen Dox, Factumentaries and ADU Dox. This year’s edition of the festival will also feature two retrospectives of Croatian documentary makers, while the organizers have also announced several special new programmes aimed at further popularizing documentary film.

This year’s edition of ZagrebDox will be host to many interesting guests from abroad, while the ZagrebDox Pro programme will be attended by many professionals who will partake in various workshops and the only documentary film pitching forum in the region.
