Archaeological finds of Roman military equipment in Croatia
Until July 25th, the Archaeological Museum will feature a large exhibition called “Roman military equipment in Croatia”, which displays the rich heritage of the Roman military in this area. Some exhibits have been discovered relatively recently and are, thus, a mystery even to the specialized public.
A large exhibition, “Roman military equipment in Croatia”, opened in late May at Zagreb’s Archaeological Museum and has attracted a great number of visitors since that time.
The exhibition will remain open until July 25th so make sure not to miss seeing the valuable Roman heritage, especially because some recently-discovered items are among the exhibits.
The exhibition consists of numerous items from the collection of Zagreb’s Archaeological Museum, but many exhibits are also borrowed from other Croatian museums.
The exhibition, which is sure to equally delight both the general public as well as archaeological experts, features some 300 valuable items and an array of drawings, photographs, posters, and video presentations.
A brochure is available in two languages, Croatian and English, and it contains interesting information about the exhibited items as well as an in-depth overview of the overall theme and history of the exhibit.
