As decided by the World Wrestling Federation, from 17 to 23 April Zagreb will host the European Wrestling Competition for seniors. More than 700 athletes from 35 countries have been announced at the event making it the largest wrestling event since 1949 when the Croatian Wrestling Federation was founded.
The championship will take place in the Arena Hall Zagreb, and the entrance is free of charge.
With this championship, Zagreb again confirms its dedication as well as its infrastructural and organisational capacity to host large sports events, which have been demonstrated many times.
