ArhiBau 2022: Challenges of Recovery and Resilience

In early October, another edition of ArhiBau will take place in the Arena Hall. This is a gathering of all those whose profession is linked to construction and ancillary services as well as those who require building services or they are interested in this field.

The Zagreb Society of Architects is the organizer of the second regional fair and conference of construction entitled ArhiBau to take place from 5 to 8 October in the Arena Hall. Even last year, in its first edition, this fair has proven to be one of the biggest in the region so the organisers have set ambitious goals in the terms of expertise and fair organisation.

The main theme of this year’s conference is “Challenges of Recovery and Resilience” with special emphasis on the national plan of recover and resilience, green and digital transition, circular economy in the construction sector, the European Green Deal, green infrastructure, examples of most recent architectural projects, the New European Bauhaus and others. Considering intense reconstruction required after the earthquakes that hit Zagreb and Sisak Moslavina County in 2020, participants will certainly be interested in protection of architectural heritage and reconstruction of buildings.

Representatives of the sector of construction from Croatia and abroad will take part in the fair, showing services of design, renovation and reconstruction, new trends in interior and exterior design, sustainable building materials and technology, green infrastructure, potable water saving systems, waste management and recycling systems, machines and equipment and other aspects of their work.
