The title “Saltimbanco” is derived from the Italian expression “saltare in banco”, which means “jumping on the bench”. The show is packed with acrobatic stunts that leave no one indifferent. “Saltimbanco” is a fascinating “story” in which more than 50 circus performers from more than 20 countries are taking part. To be able to perform this demanding show, they undergo artistic, as well as agility and coordination training each day.

Each of their shows has a certain social message and offers very characteristic solutions to posed questions.
Aside from featuring an excellent soundtrack, this fascinating show consists of nine acrobatic performances that require unimaginable strength, balance, and deep concentration on behalf of the acrobats. Their acts are performed on a double trapeze, Chinese poles, and other formations, convincing even the biggest sceptics of the human body’s true potential for durability, flexibility, and strength. The fact that the required equipment for the show has a combined weight of 180 tons is proof that this truly is a demanding project.
