Noć muzejaNumerous museums of Zagreb will open their doors to visitors again in this year’s edition of the Night at the Museum event, which takes place on January 30th and offers an exciting opportunity for a night-viewing of their exhibits. Since it was launched in 2005 as part of the European initiative for the promotion of quality and diversity of cultural heritage, the event has been attracting increasing numbers of visitors as well as interest from both domestic and international audiences. Therefore, this year’s event will be full of surprises that are certain to leave an impression on the visitors.
Currently, several large retrospective exhibitions are being held in Zagreb’s museums, for example: an exhibition of Rembrandt’s print works and old clocks at the Museum of Arts and Crafts, an exhibition of German expressionists at the Klovićevi Dvori Gallery, and an exhibition of works by the great Croatian painter Josip Račić at the Modern Gallery. Moreover, museum visitors can also enjoy the very valuable collections on display at the Archaeological Museum, the Historic Museum, and the Museum of Naïve Art, etc. All of Zagreb’s many museums are within walking proximity of each other, which makes it so much easier to see more of them during the Night at the Museum event.
