Life in Zagreb has been intense in recent months. Its cultural scene is teeming with events which capture the attention of spectators. This is equally true for music lovers, fans of written word, museums and exhibitions and theatre shows.

Zagreb is also a traditional business centre so various business meetings, gathering experts in different fields, are scheduled to take place by the end of the year.

What is considered by many to be the most wonderful time of the year is ahead, the time of Advent and Christmas. These holidays bring back tradition and reawaken nostalgia. They are another reason to visit our city since the Advent festivities in Zagreb have won the flattering title of the best European Christmas market three years in a row. Zagreb was chosen by numerous readers of the European Best Destinations portal, after which it was excluded from further competition.

We are glad to say that this year the Advent festivities are back in Zagreb in all their glory. Numerous events, new locations and activities and around hundred outdoor and indoor holiday concerts make up the holiday spirit which will mark the life of the entire city.

Let us note that citizens of Zagreb live with Advent, which is another reason for a special atmosphere in the streets, squares and parks of the city. All of this will be accompanied by diverse commercial and gastro offer which includes traditional Croatian but also international festive dishes and desserts.
