Dear friends and business partners!

With spring, life in the city goes outdoors. Visitors who decide to spend Easter holidays in Zagreb will see this for themselves and enjoy festive activities, beauty and colours of parks in Zagreb, as well as events to take place.

For those visiting from abroad, regardless of whether they are travelling by road or air, the fact that in late-March Croatia has become completely integrated in the Schengen area is excellent news. After boarder formalities were eliminated in road and railway traffic at the beginning of 2023, as of 26 March, with the summer flights schedule, the same rules apply to citizens of the European Union who fly to Croatia.

Travelling is certainly made easier and faster with this fact. It will be reflected in an even greater interest in visiting Zagreb, as did the fact that Euro has become the official currency in the country.

The list of activities offered by the city are certainly another good reason to visit. Concerts, exhibitions and festivals, excellent atmosphere and gastronomy, shopping opportunities and recreation are just a fraction of what tourists appreciate and what draws them back to the city. This is confirmed by a growing number of digital nomads. This year there is a special, year-round programme for them which has never been more eventful entitled "Zagreb Digital Nomad – Four Seasons". There is no wonder that the number of those who made Zagreb their permanent rather than temporary destination is growing.

Welcome to Zagreb!

Yours faithfully,

Martina Bienenfeld, PhD
