Depeche Mode; fourth time in Zagreb

The list of global music stars that have visited or will visit Croatia is once again expanded by the great English band Depeche Mode, which is visiting Zagreb for the fourth time as part of their latest European stadium tour. In Zagreb, they will hold a concert at Maksimir Stadium.

Zagreb is in for yet another musical treat as the great English band Depeche Mode has scheduled a performance in May!

The mega-popular band’s concert will take place on 23rd May in Arena Zagreb, as part of Depeche Mode’s promotion of their latest album, their thirteenth studio album, which is scheduled for release in the spring. This is to be their first live tour since 2010 and their Tour of the Universe World Tour, during which they performed 142 concerts and broke sales records with over 2.5 million tickets sold.

Much is known about Depeche Mode; they are one of the longest lasting successful bands that has managed to survive the new wave, and are nowadays recognized as one of the greatest bands of all time, and absolutely the best electronic band in the world. The band was officialy formed in 1980 in England, and this will be their fourth performance in Zagreb.

Their hits need no special introduction as they are still crucial aspects of radio and television programme playlists worldwide.
Their latest European tour, followed by a tour of North America, begins on 7th May in Tel Aviv and it ends in Minsk on 29th June. They plan to visit 25 countries and hold a total of 34 concerts. Apart from Zagreb, the only other cities in the region that the band has on their schedule are Belgrade and Budapest, four days prior to the Zagreb concert. It is a great honor, therefore, to be host to such a globally popular band whose concert is an unmissable event.

Ticket sales started on 26th October 2012 at all Eventim box-offices, online at www.eventim.hr, and in the office of the organizer, Adria Entertainment (Lanište 30, Arena, south). Ticket prices range between 350 and 500 kuna.

The greatest and quickest fans will receive a 50 kuna discount for the first 2000 tickets sold. The price for the stands is 450 kuna, the fan pit costs 400 kuna, and the standing area is priced at 300 kuna.
