The Croatian Government made the decision to temporarily suspend the country’s visa regime, which makes entry into Croatia easier for tourists from Kazakhstan, the Russian Federation and Ukraine. The decision came into effect on April 1st and it will remain in effect until October 31st. Citizens of the aforementioned countries will simply need a valid passport to enter Croatia during that period; however, their visit must not exceed a maximum of 90 days.

During that period, visas will not be necessary for foreigners who carry valid residence permits issued by any of the Schengen states. Therefore, on organized group visits, visas to enter Croatia will not be required for nationals of India and China who carry a Schengen permit. The current no-visa regime is also applicable to guests who visit Croatia as part of organized tourist groups from Jordan, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and the United Arab Emirates.
