Festival of entertainment at Zagreb's lake

Come to Bundek between September 25th and October 5th and partake in entertainment, enjoy a diverse offer of food and do a lot more, because the city of Zagreb and its partners, Budapest, Vienna, Ljubljana and Rome, promise to deliver the best edition of the Bundek lakeside festival to date.

During the first days of autumn, Zagreb's Bundek Lake will become a big stage featuring entertainment and concerts as part of the Bundekfest Festival. This year, visitors can look forward to its best edition to date, organized for the first time ever in cooperation with partner cities: Budapest, Vienna, Ljubljana and Rome.

For 11 days, starting on September 25th until October 5th, the festival audiences will be entertained by an impressive line up of home-grown and regional talent whose music will go down even better with some good food. There will be a lot more on offer for spectators of all ages. Let us mention a little train which will roll around Bundek Lake, horse-drawn carriages, puppet shows, a performance by the Lado folklore ensemble, motorcycle stunts, karaoke, matinees, play zones for children featuring magician’s shows, the election of the festival’s prince and princess, and a lot more.

Special themed blocks will feature presentations by the Bundekfest partner cities. Their tourist offices will showcase their historical heritage and culture. Each of the cities will present their gastronomic offer at the Bundek lakeside cookery shows, offering guests the opportunity to see how typical foods of those cities are prepared and to taste them on the spot.

By organizing this festival, the City of Zagreb and its Tourist Board give you yet another reason to come to Bundek this year where a good time will certainly be had by all. This festival has become a must-visit autumn event for many citizens of Zagreb and their guests who arrive for the occasion from all corners of Croatia and further a field. Join them and have fun!
