Glory Dayz – A New Music Festival

The British bass player Peter Hook, the founder of the legendary band Joy Division, as well as Saint Etienne, Spiritualized and Cults are but a few of the names scheduled to appear on 28th and 29th September at the new music festival Glory Dayz which will take place on the grounds of Zagreb Fair.

Glory Dayz is a brand new music festival scheduled to take place on 28th and 29th September on the grounds of Zagreb Fair. According to announcements by the organizers, the festival will be small and rather charming, and it will feature some twenty hand-picked domestic and international performers who will play on two different stages. Among them will be the British bass player Peter Hook, the founder of the legendary bands Joy Division and New Order, as well as Saint Etienne, Spiritualized, Cults, Kitty, Daisy & Lewis, Svadbas, Darkwwod and many others. Therefore, the audience in Zagreb will enjoy a live reminder of the famous hits by Joy Division, the band which stopped playing together in 1980 after the tragic death of the lead singer Ian Curtis. Some of their hits include “Shadowplay”, “She’s Lost Control”, “Love Will Tear Us Apart”, “Disorder” and many others.

The festival organizer is Menart. The tickets are already on sale through the Eventim system. The first three hundred tickets at the price of 200 kuna are reserved for the fastest buyers, whereas up to 1st July the price of a ticket will be 240 kuna. After that, until 1st September, the ticket price will be 270 kuna, and from that day until the first day of the festival the price will be 290 kuna. Therefore, waste no time and purchase your ticket well ahead of time at a lower cost.
