Guns N' Roses finally in Zagreb!

It has been officially confirmed – the legendary band Guns N' Roses will perform in Zagreb on September 24th. They will hold a concert at Zagreb’s largest hall, the Arena, as part of their European tour. Tickets have been on sale since early June.

After a more than 15-year break, the legendary Californian heavy metal band Guns N' Roses is once again on the road across Europe.

The Zagreb audience can expect a large concert on September 24th, which will be held at the largest hall in the city, the Zagreb Arena. Since tickets have been on sale since early June, the organizers from Lupa Promotion are announcing that they might soon be sold out.

The Guns N' Roses concert was initially planned for June 20th but the reorganization of their large European tour postponed it until September 24th, when the Zagreb audience will finally have an opportunity to sing along to some of their greatest hits from the 1980’s and 1990’s.

With their extravagant performances and repertoire, this famous band has greatly influenced the music trends of the late 1980’s and early 1990’s.

Their fame lasted until 1996 when the band broke apart due to internal differences, although the singer, Axl Rose, has tried his best to keep the band alive.

The new line-up began public performances in 2001 but they relied heavily on old glory until 2008, when they finally released their eagerly-awaited new album: “Chinese Democracy”.

The band will be promoting this new album whilst here in Zagreb, but there is no doubt that, despite the new songs, fans will most enjoy hits such as “November Rain”, “Don't Cry”, “Sweet Child O’ Mine”, “Paradise City”, “Welcome to the Jungle” and “You Could Be Mine”, classics that are still enjoyed worldwide by fans of all ages.

The band has sold more than 100 million albums, which places them on the prestigious list “50 Bands To See Before You Die”, compiled in 2005 by the British music magazine “Q”.

Ticket prices are 299 kuna, 329 kuna, and 499 kuna; they can be purchased at all licensed Eventim offices.
