Holi Run & Fest Zagreb 2018: A Colourful Race at Jarun Lake
Holi Run: a race with no stopwatches where everyone wins.
For the second year in a row, on 12 May the Holi Run will be held at Zagreb’s Jarun lake. Holi colours, running, roller-skating, DJs, fun, dancing… all of this awaits participants and spectators at this colourful race at Lake Jarun. Because Holi is a race with no stopwatches, a colourful event for positive people who love to move and dance. The Holi concept is based on the international “Colour Run” concept. On a 4.5 km course there are four colour stations with a rainbow of Holi colours to bring even more life to the atmosphere. Holi colours come from an Indian festival which celebrates the end of winter and the arrival of spring; they are attractive and completely natural. As always, this is a race which inspires and supports the equal participation of people with disabilities in the fun and the celebration of movement. As well as the race itself, the programme includes a range of entertainments. Participants start to gather at 3 pm, the race starts at 5 pm, and the entertainments last from 5 pm to 9 pm.
