The Gradska Kavana Cafe has teamed up with the dance club Los Mamberos to organize a major humanitarian Christmas Salsa Party with a view of the city’s main square on 17th December. It will certainly not be cold on that day in Gradska Kavana as a number of DJs and dancers will provide hot entertainment and an attractive programme. Since salsa rhythms are a hard-to-resist temptation, visitors will certainly cherish the opportunity to take a whirl themselves, to learn some new dance moves and have tons of fun in the process.
To heat up the atmosphere even more, the organizers have prepared other types of games and entertainment, and every visitor will have a chance to participate in the tombola with prizes for everybody.
The dance rhythms will not be stopped even during the delicious Latino meal which will be prepared by master chefs.
As the event is being organized for charity purposes, the price of a Salsa Party ticket will be a symbolic 35 kuna. The dinner will be charged separately. The total proceeds will be donated to the children of the SOS children's villages.
While passers-by strolling through the main square will be trying to make themselves warm in many different ways, Salsa Party participants will enjoy the heated atmosphere, dancing the night away to the original steps of the Latino dance and also improvising new steps. The Los Mamberos dance club is the only dance club in Zagreb where all types of salsa are being trained and practiced, which means that even good salsa dancers will have the opportunity to learn something new that night.
