International Fireworks Festival – A Fiery Contest at Bundek Lake

The International Fireworks Festival will set the sky above Zagreb alight for the 18th time.

This year too, on the shores of Lake Bundek the best and the most imaginative pyrotechnicians will prepare top class entertainment, with luxuriant and loud fireworks at the International Fireworks Festival.

The Zagreb Festival will on 29 and 30 June and 1 July bring together the best pyrotechnics teams specialising in large public fireworks displays, with many years of experience and hundreds of fireworks displays behind them. Representatives from Germany, China, Austria, Poland, Finland, Estonia, the Czech Republic, Russia, Lithuania, Slovakia, Hungary, Italy, Romania and the Philippines are just some of the countries which have shown off their skills in previous years. This year too three teams from abroad, alongside the hosts, will show off their art with spectacular 10-minute firework displays: fireworks experts are coming this year from Russia, Belgium and Austria.

Apart from the extravaganza in the heavens above Zagreb, visitors, more of them each year, can expect musical performances from renowned Croatian artists. Jura Stublić, the Najbolji Croatian tambour players and Jasmin Stavros will be in charge of the party vibes this year. Fiery fun is guaranteed in one of Zagreb’s most beautiful parks.
