Music and Entertainment at Bundek
Bundek Lake will once again be a must-stop for many visitors and beer lovers who will enjoy various entertainment events and a rich gastronomic offer during this year’s Septemberfest.
Between the 18th and 27th of September, Bundek Lake will be the venue of Septemberfest. During the ten day event, Bundek will undoubtedly attract many visitors who will enjoy music and the rich offer of specialties from different Croatian regions.
Designed as a beer festival, Septemberfest was first organized last year, and it drew some 90,000 visitors to Bundek Lake. Indigenous products from Zagreb County, such as Rudarska greblica (a salty cheese cake), Samobor kremšnita (custard cream cake), Samobor style cutlets, ćešnjovka sausages, and bermet (a sweet and sour dessert wine) were all available, as well as various delicacies from other Croatian regions, such as the famous Slavonian meat specialty kulen, the Imotski torta cake, etc. The event also featured a crafts fair with a rich offer of useful souvenir items. Most female visitors to Septemberfest were attracted to the stands selling Kraluš – the ethno jewelry of Samobor, once worn by baronesses who couldn’t resist its beauty, and by the poorer girls who could make it themselves. The jewelry consists of blown glass pearls and mesmerizes with its elegance, unique design and beauty.
A rich cultural and entertainment program is tied to the event. There will be performances by folklore groups, which will present the customs of their regions through song and dance. Therefore, we would like to invite you to join us and let your hair down during this year’s Septemberfest.
