Neutral Milk Hotel at Tvornica Kulture

One of the most influential American indie bands, Neutral Milk Hotel, will hold its only regional concert at Zagreb’s Tvornica Kulture on June 2nd 2014 as part of their tour which began earlier this year.

On June 2nd 2014, Tvornica Kulture will be the venue for the only regional concert by one of the most influential American indie rock bands, Neutral Milk Hotel. The band reassembled after a fourteen-year-hiatus and embarked on a tour earlier this year.

Their album, “In The Aeroplane Over The Sea”, was a commercial flop when it was first released in 1988. It was discovered and became popular only after the group disbanded. Later on, numerous other bands, such as Beirut, Arcade Fire and The Decemberists credited Neutral Milk Hotel with being the key influence on their music style.

This tour has sparked great audience interest, as this is the first real opportunity to see the band live. It is no surprise, therefore, that all of their shows in America sold out within just a few hours. They will hold six concerts in New York alone, in January next year, they have been announced as headliners of the Primavera Festival in Barcelona in May, and they will probably also perform at the famous Coachella Festival in the United States.

Tickets for the concert in Zagreb are already on sale at a price of 120 kuna until the end of the year. After the New Year, prices will rise to 140 kuna, while tickets will cost 160 kuna on the day of the concert.

They can be purchased at the Dirty Old Shop, Rockmark bookshop, Dancing Bear Shop, Dallas Music Shop and via Eventim.
