If you like to travel, make sure to visit the international tourism fair, taking place between the March 13th and 15th at Boćarski Dom, where numerous destinations from around the world will be presented. Visitors can also compete for amazing prizes, including trips to European as well as distant countries.

Between March 13th and 15th, Boćarski Dom will be the venue for the fourth edition of the international tourism fair, Place2go. By reaching its fourth edition the fair has shown that it stands on “solid ground”; it has been recognized by the public and the exhibitors are satisfied, which is confirmed by the fact that the fair is significantly growing, not just in terms of quantity but also quality. This is predominantly evident by the fact that it has been recognized by countries which have not yet presented their tourist offer in Croatia, and they have chosen Place2go as the event for their introduction. This year’s premiere presentations will be made by the city of Brussels and the exotic country Namibia. The already well-known, but no less attractive destinations that will be presented at this year’s fair include Thailand, India, Malaysia, Tunisia, the United Arab Emirates, as well as destinations in our surroundings, such as Slovenia, Serbia, Austria, Hungary and, of course, the numerous destinations around Croatia itself. The novelty of this year’s fair is that the participants in the business part of the fair, taking place on March 13th from 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., will have the opportunity to invite all their partners and discuss new deals, because the fair will be closed for visitors during that period.

This year, the international tourism fair, Place2go, is taking place in two halls; one for the exhibitors, and one for visitors, where they will have the opportunity to enjoy specialties from Croatia and many other cuisines from around the world. The selection will include many familiar delicacies, but also some new treats for the visitors to enjoy, such as Putin’s favourite specialties, real Iranian tea, Indian nan bread, wok dishes from Matija’s workshop, original Pad Thai, as well as many other flavours. They will be available as souvenirs in the form of spices, fruit and vegetables, as well as indigenous Croatian products and various exotic items from the Place2Go market. The fair will also feature various lectures by experienced travel writers.

Like in the previous years, the fair will feature a prize giveaway, Place2go Passport, with valuable prizes in store for the winners. In order to be eligible for an award, one must “travel” the fair and gather stamps in their passport, which is also the fair catalogue. Among the prizes are a trip to Paris for two, five nights in Las Vegas, four return plane tickets to Dubai, two to Istanbul, and trips to London, Belgrade and Hungary.
