Project Okolo/Around: An Unexpected Encounter with Street Art

The project Okolo/Around uses artistic vision and street art to help you find beauty where you did not see it or expect it until now. And there it is for you.

When visiting Zagreb and its hidden corners, art awaits where you least expect it. Foreign and Croatian street artists will paint on what were practically invisible public spaces in the streets and squares of Zagreb from 20 to 30 August as a part of the project Okolo/Around. These spots which are unsightly and invisible are about to become a canvas and a challenge to artists.

To visitors these spots mean an unexpected encounter with street art which in addition to providing aesthetic experience, also teaches us to find hidden beauty and never give up striving to find it.
