Rufus Wainwright at Lisinski

Rufus Wainwright, one of the most talented contemporary musicians, will perform a concert at Zagreb’s Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall on April 2nd as part of his tour, during which he will promote his latest album.

On April 2nd, the Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall will be the venue for a concert by Rufus Wainwright. It will be the talented musician’s second performance in Croatia; part of the tour during which he will promote his latest album, “Vibrate: The Best of Rufus Wainwright”.

Rufus Wainwright is one of the best singers, composers and performers of a younger generation, who has also proven himself as an excellent entertainer. In his prolific career, he has released seven studio albums and two live recordings, while his creative opus also includes opera, theatre and film. After the premiere in 2009, his first opera, “Prima Donna”, was featured on numerous stages across Europe and the United States. He is preparing his second opera for this year.

Throughout his career, Rufus Wainwright has cooperated with the most renowned orchestras in the world, including the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, San Francisco Symphony Orchestra etc., as well as numerous globally renowned musicians and bands, such as Shirley Bassey, Elton John, Pet Shop Boys, David Byrne, Lou Reed, and Robbie Williams, with whom he has recently recorded a duet, “Swing Both Ways”, on Robbie Williams’ namesake album.

Rufus Wainwright held his first concert in Croatia last year in Dubrovnik, but now his fans from Zagreb will have the opportunity to see him in person and listen to him sing and play his pieces on the piano.

Tickets for the Rufus Wainwright concert can be purchased at a price ranging between 190 and 310 kuna.
