Strossmayerov trg – Zagreb Burger Festival

The scent of the best burgers, made by Croatian master burger chefs, will once more attract visitors to Strossmayerov trg 13-23 September.

130,000 people visited last year’s Zagreb Burger Festival. This year the organisers forecast an even bigger and more interesting festival. You have to come to Strossmayerov trg to find out for yourself: why are Istrian burgers so creative and so delicious; why are burgers from Split totally playful and juicy, why are burgers from Dubrovnik out of this world, and why are Zagreb burgers scented and full of flavour that reaches heights you never dreamed of? At the festival burgers from ten burger empires in Zagreb, Split, Dubrovnik, Fažana and Pula will be presented.

There will be no shortage of competitive spirit, both because the visitors will be ranking the best burgers, and because the winner will only be announced two days after the Festival. Apart from burgers, fans of spicy foods will be able to stroll along Spice Street and browse spices from around the world, get expert advice and see which blends are best for burgers. Also presented for the first time will be Kredenca zdravlja – a speciality food shop in Zagreb. There will also be an attractive programme of entertainment, a kids’ zone, a sweet zone, a spirits corner and a mini brewery, and much more.
