The 3rd Park-in-Zagreb Festival
The Park-in-Zagreb Festival, which is scheduled to take place between June 29th and July 12th at Ribnjak Park, will once again entertain the audiences with a variety of cultural features and sporting events throughout the duration of its 2-week program.
The Park-in-Zagreb youth festival will take place in Ribnjak Park between June 29th and July 12th. Numerous dance, music, sporting, sculpting, drama and other workshops, as well as plays, exhibitions, film projections and concerts, will be organized throughout the festival’s two-week duration. This festival is aimed at the younger population, particularly between the ages of 15 and 30, but it also offers programs for youngsters between 8 and 14 years old, as well as recreational programs for middle-aged persons and pensioners.
Ten concerts are scheduled to take place at this year's Park-in-Zagreb Festival. These concerts will feature domestic and foreign bands playing a variety of classical and pop music, including other musical styles and sounds, such as: soul-pop-rock, experimental electro-acoustic folk, electro-pop funk, gypsy brass, etc.
At the same time, there will be 13 different workshops – the painting, sports, puppeteering and sculpting workshops are geared towards children while the salsa, didgeridoo, hula-hoop, stand-up comedy, circus art, Capoiera, public speaking and magic of charm workshops are intended for adults.
The organizers of the Park-in-Zagreb Festival are the Kula (Tower) Association, the Ribnjak Youth Center, and Purgeraj night-club, where most of the concerts will take place with the exception of the outdoor opening-performance in Ribnjak Park that kicked-off the start of this festival.
Entry to all of the events is free.
