The first kosher fast-food diner in Zagreb

A new kosher diner, Lifestyle, has recently been opened in the heart of the city. Located on Margaretska Street, it offers an array of meat-free dishes prepared according to the strict Jewish dietary laws, which is proved by kosher certification.

This diner does not serve any meat, only food based on dairy products, fish and soya. Since the strict kosher rules forbid storing meat and dairy products in the same room, the owner of Lifestyle diner, Nina Savičević has chosen to serve only the latter instead.

The offer consists of a wide selection of readily prepared products, and literally all of them clearly feature a halakha certificate. Besides that, all products have been made exclusively from Croatian produce, according to kosher standards of course, and they are guaranteed fresh as all of them are prepared in front of the customers.

Thus, Zagreb has gained yet another dining establishment that offers good quality and healthy fast-food. For instance, one sandwich on offer consists of: fresh salmon, Tunisian cheese, light cream, arugula or rocket and lemon, on a bun without any additives.

Customers can refresh themselves with smoothies made from frozen fruits and, according to individual wishes, light yoghurt, milk or soy milk. The selection of flavours is varied and ranges from cranberry, almond and walnut, to the more standard assortment. There is also a large selection of delicious cakes. In order to follow kosher guidelines, guests can use a washbasin to splash their hands with water before eating their meals.
