The “Restaurant Week” in Zagreb
After New York, Paris and London, Zagreb also boasts its “Restaurants Week”. This large event, during which Zagreb’s most exquisite restaurants will offer their tastiest three-course menus at promotional prices, will take place between September 27th and October 3rd.
A unique event, the “Restaurant Week”, has been organized in Zagreb for its citizens and guests. It is the first such joint action in which Zagreb’s most exquisite restaurants will offer their guests three-course menus at the promotional price of 100 Kuna. This unique event will take place between September 27th and October 3rd, and its organization not only puts Zagreb alongside European capitals such as Paris and London, which promote their culinary values through such actions, but also proves that Zagreb is an interesting gastronomic destination of its own accord.
Some twenty or so top restaurants, located across the city, are involved: Atlanta, Klub gastronomada, Okrugljak, Balon, Ivica i Marica, Hellas, Bistro Apetit, Pauza, Trilogija, Mú, Panino, Bota Šare, Lobby, Klub književnika, Stefano, Kamanjo, Fellini, Jilly's, Kod Vele, Argante… They offer their guests an opportunity to taste the best specialties of their cuisines at discount prices, and discover the flavours and aromas of Zagreb. Each restaurant has prepared additional surprises so, aside from tasting exquisite delicacies and typical dishes of Zagreb, guests will also have the opportunity to enjoy the special atmosphere conceived especially for this action.
Considering that the interest for this event is quite big, understandably so, it would be best not to embark on this culinary adventure without prior reservation. More information about the participating restaurants, their locations, menus, courses, specialties, and information about how to make a reservation can be found online at www.tjedanrestorana.com. Should you happen to miss this year’s action, do not despair as the organizers are already announcing a new “Restaurant Week” in Zagreb for February next year.
