Two days of exquisite music

The leading names from the world of music will mark the 6th T-Mobile INmusic Festival 2011, which will attract numerous international guests to the Island of Croatian Youth at Zagreb’s Jarun Lake, on the 21st and 22nd of June.

Global music stars, an excellent atmosphere, and an unforgettable party – all are features of the upcoming T-Mobile INmusic Festival 2011. The festival will take place for the 6th consecutive year, on the 21st and the 22nd of June on the Island of Croatian Youth at Zagreb’s Jarun Lake; as in previous years, visitors with tickets will have various benefits and privileges.

For the second year in a row, the British Times placed the T-Mobile INmusic Festival on their list of top 20 festivals in Europe; this year, the BBC added their stamp of approval by proclaiming it a festival jewel. Although numerous global music stars – such as Massive Attack, Billy Idol, Alice in Chains, Morcheeba, the unforgettable Flaming Lips, and many others – performed at last year’s festival, the organizer is preparing even more music treats for this year. One of them will certainly be the performance by British band Jamiroquai, one of the most influential acid jazz and funk bands in the world, led by the charismatic Jay Kay. Confirmed headliners are Arcade Fire.

Other well-known bands include the Californian hip-hop legends Cypress Hill, and British rapper Mike Skinner, also known as The Streets, who is embarking on his farewell tour; his performance at this year’s edition of the T-Mobile INmusic Festival may very well be one of his last. There will also be performances by: explosive, dark and unique - Grinderman, the American alternative rock band, TV On The Radio; one of the most inventive progressive metal bands, Mastodon; and the regionally-popular Croatian band, Elemental.
