Zagreb is one of the selected cities which will host the legendary “We Will Rock You” musical in May 2013. The musical is supposed to hit the road for its first world tour in April of next year with the first show in the country where it was born – Great Britain. The author of this famous hit production is Ben Elton, who was inspired by the great hits of the legendary band Queen, and together with its members, guitarist Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor, turned them into a musical.
According to the tour schedule, the show will be held three times in the Zagreb Arena. The first two shows will be on 24 and 25 May starting at 8 P.M., whereas the third show will start at 4 P.M. on 26 May. The tickets for this box office record breaking hit are already on sale through the Eventim system. Over half a million spectators enjoyed the excellent performances of the greatest hits by Queen last year alone during the Great Britain tour which was crowned by the prestigious Olivier Award. This year, the London production of the musical celebrated its tenth anniversary with a record breaking number of over 6 million spectators in Great Britain. The spectacle has also recorded over 15 million spectators in 17 other countries excluding Great Britain.
The enthusiasts of Queen’s music will be able to purchase tickets for the “We Will Rock You” musical in Zagreb at prices ranging from 175 to 800 kuna. The biggest and fastest fans will be rewarded with a 20 per cent discount on the price of tickets purchased before 1 August 2012. The tickets can be bought by credit card and even paid in instalments at the Adria Zabava office at Lanište 30, Arena Hall, South. Adria Entertainment Fan Club members are entitled to special benefits.
