Zagreb wins another award this year

At the 29th ITE & MICE international fair, held in Hong Kong, Zagreb won an award in the Most Cultural Spirit Journey category, confirming its status as an innovative and attractive destination in this market segment.

For the second consecutive year, Zagreb has won an award from the leading travel magazine – U Magazine, at the biggest international travel fair in Asia, the 29^th International Travel Expo (ITE & MICE), held in Hong Kong. This year’s award was in the Most Cultural Spirit Journey category. A total of eight awards were given, and the other recipients included Taiwan, Switzerland, Guam, Egypt, Malaysia, Japan and Turkey.

U Magazine, the leading tourism magazine in Hong Kong, has been organizing the New Travel Route Contest for nine years now, with the aim of presenting new destinations and innovative travel routes to its readers.

Last year, Zagreb won an award in the Most Dazzling Journey category.

This year’s international ITE & MICE fair in Hong Kong featured 607 exhibitors from 50 countries, including the Zagreb Tourist Board.
