    Over 2300 newspapers and magazines free of charge on mobile screens

    The Esplanade, the most prestigious of Zagreb's hotels, was the first in the world to test the PressReader application which is now one of the free-of-charge services it offers. The Esplanade's guests can download over 2300 Croatian and foreign newspapers and magazines which are published in digital form in over 100 countries in 56 languages.

    Gnalić – Treasure from a 16th Century Sunken Ship

    Until the end of May of next year, the Croatian History Museum will be the venue for the exhibition “Gnalić – Treasure from a 16th Century Sunken Ship”, which features a collection of items retrieved from the richest underwater site in the Croatian Adriatic, discovered in the 1960s south of Biograd na Moru, near the island of Gnalić.

    Cult Band, The Vibrators, at the Vintage Industrial Bar

    The increasingly popular Vintage Industrial Bar in Zagreb will open its second season with yet another musical treat – a concert by the legendary punk rock band The Vibrators on September 7th. The opening act will be the Zagreb punk rock band Eksodus, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary.

    Jesse Eisenberg (actor) spent the autumn in Zagreb in 2007: Zagreb is an incredible town. I enjoyed sightseeing the old parts of the town, and at night I went to clubs. I was thrilled that it was near Austria and Italy, so I visited Venice, Milan, Ljubljana, Graz, Split... over the weekends.
