Designers, design buffs and potential buyers looking to discover quality projects and authors in this part of Europe are welcome to come to Zagreb for the 3rd Day D – the international design festival which will be held for three days between 15th and 17th July.
The beginning of summer in Zagreb has been truly special since Park-in-Zagreb was first launched. This year again, from 26 th June to 7th July, a festival of entertainment and culture will be held outdoors, under the leafy treetops in Ribnjak Park, just a stone's throw away from the main city square.
For this year’s Zagreb Time Machine, the Zagreb Tourist Board has once again prepared a diverse programme, which will be taking place on the city’s squares and streets until the end of September.
For a number of years, an event has been turning Zagreb into the largest showcase of a floral picture book in this part of Europe. This spring again, between 30th May and 3rd June, that picture book will demonstrate all of its floral sumptuousness during the 47th Floraart, a large international flower show which will take place at Zagreb's Bundek Lake.
Zagreb’s best known and largest music festival – the INmusic Festival, will once again attract numerous fans of great music to Zagreb for a three day festival of phenomenal fun. The festival will take place between the 28th and 30th of June and will feature acts such as Franz Ferdinand, New Order, Mando Diao, Gorillaz Sound System and many more.
As of May 9th Zagreb will have a daily connection with Qatar thanks to the new direct route Doha – Zagreb - Doha with a stop-over in Budapest operated by Qatar Airways. Tickets will be sold at promotional prices until the first scheduled flight.
Numerous fans, especially among the female population, will be happy to hear that the mega-popular quartet, Il Divo, will hold a concert on September 17th at the Zagreb Arena as part of their fourth world tour.
