    5th Edition of Human Rights Film Festival

    The 5th Human Rights Film Festival is scheduled to take place between 8 and 14 February at Zagreb’s Europa film theater. This year, exceptionally, the festival takes place in February and not in its traditional slot during the International Human Rights Days in the first half of December.

    Authentic Zagreb Apple Sunčana /Sunny/

    In addition to the already familiar products which bear the Zagreb County brand, such as Portugizac Plešivica and Kraljevina Zelina wines, Laktec sauerkraut, Samobor salami, Kap Zdravlja /A Drop of Health/ apple vinegar and Dragec and Kriško cheeses, the Sunčana apple variety is a new member in the family of Zagreb County brand products.

    A Project to Revive Old Zagorje Crafts

    As of recently, the Kumrovec museum Staro Selo /Old Village/ has become the Center for Traditional Crafts in Croatia. Its opening coincides with the launch of the project – Old Crafts – New Attractions for Culture Tourism of Croatian Zagorje.

    Jesse Eisenberg (actor) spent the autumn in Zagreb in 2007: Zagreb is an incredible town. I enjoyed sightseeing the old parts of the town, and at night I went to clubs. I was thrilled that it was near Austria and Italy, so I visited Venice, Milan, Ljubljana, Graz, Split... over the weekends.
