This year Zagreb will again await and welcome spring with the Festival of Lights. From 20 to 24 March this event will enchant us with romance that will mark the life of Upper town squares, streets and facades.
A dynamic gastronomic scene of Zagreb, which was recently awarded the first Michelin star, constantly surprises us with novelties, skilfully combining a recognisable and renowned Croatian cuisine with international delicacies and cuisines of other countries.
At the very end of March Pink Day Zagreb will gather top producers and numerous fans of rosé and sparkling wines as well as olive oil from Croatia and the world for the seventh time.
A frequent guest of reputable opera houses, a renowned lyric tenor Tomislav Mužek to hold a concert of Italian canzone, classical and popular pieces accompanied by three instrumentalists on 8 April.
As a part of his world tour on three continents and of sold-out concerts in music halls of many world cities, on 30 and 31 March a well-reputed pianist Maksim Mrvica will perform in Zagreb, in the Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall.
The Zagreb fair is the venue for many trade fairs which gather professionals from Croatia and abroad and arouse great interest of visitors.
With sunny days the number of sporting events increases, and in March they will mostly be about recreational and competitive races.
A new production of a spectacular show “Walking with dinosaurs” which aroused world-wide interest will be staged at Arena Zagreb from 8 March to 10 March.

I am sorry that I have not had the opportunity to stay longer and see a little more, but the Jarun Lake and clubs impressed me, has all the elements of good entertainment.

I remember Zagreb as a beautiful city, and the people I met were very nice and offered me a warm welcome. The audience was wonderful as well. Really, that concert has been like a lovely souvenir.
