For the sixth season running the Zagreb Film Festival and the Zagreb Philharmonic are bringing to the silver screen at Kino Europa the greatest classics from the era of silent film with musical accompaniment from the Zagreb Philharmonic!

In partnership with the Zagreb Fair and the Association of the Wood Manufacturing Industry at the Croatian Chamber of Commerce, from 11 to 15 October the 44thAmbienta will once again present the power and potential of the wood manufacturing industry over 20,000 m2 of exhibition space.
In Klovićevi dvori on 14 September a large retrospective exhibition opened on the respected Croatian artist Vasko Lipovac, one of the most significant Croatian artists of the second part of the 20th century. Or, to put it better, from 14 September head for Klovićevi dvori for a dose of optimisim, brightness, good spirit, smiles and cheer which this great artist brings.
For the 24th year running visitors to Kino Europa will be able to enjoy Czech Film Week as part of the rich programme of Autumn events. This year, Czech Film Week is on 10 to 17 November. Once again Zagreb audiences will be able to enjoy those familiar warm stories full of humanity and the unique Czech dark humour. This year’s Czech Film Week will present six selected works of recent Czech cinematography.

I like Lisinski very much. It was very intense to perform there, because people came, listened carefully and felt the music in their hearts. Lisinski is a beautiful concert hall, and I am very honored to be performing there. I have wonderful memories of my first performance in Lisinski.

Jesse Eisenberg (actor) spent the autumn in Zagreb in 2007: Zagreb is an incredible town. I enjoyed sightseeing the old parts of the town, and at night I went to clubs. I was thrilled that it was near Austria and Italy, so I visited Venice, Milan, Ljubljana, Graz, Split... over the weekends.

I remember Zagreb as a beautiful city, and the people I met were very nice and offered me a warm welcome. The audience was wonderful as well. Really, that concert has been like a lovely souvenir.
