In Tvornica kulture, just as in other Zagreb concert spaces, “production” is being ramped up to the next level. There are many excellent concerts lined up much to the joy of fans of music of all kinds.

On Strossmayerovo šetalište, at the foot of the Lotrščak tower, this year too the citizens of Zagreb and their guests can expect a wealth of events and entertainments every single day. Because, on 25 May Summer on Stross starts and will last until 17 September!

From 31 May to 4 June on the Zagreb streets and squares the 21st international multimedia street festival Cest is d’Best will be held!

Croatia and Zagreb are the hosts of the new international festival #WELOVESOUND. The festival will be held on 2 and 3 June in Zagreb, and as well as being supported by the City of Zagreb and Zagreb Tourist Board it is being set up by the team which is behind Sonus, one of the most respected international music events.

Beth Hart, one of the best blues/rock singers around today, is coming to Zagreb. She will perform at the Boogaloo Club on 10 May 2017. Beth Hart was born in Los Angeles and released her first albums at the beginning of the 1990s.

A versatile musician, songwriter and guitarist with an incredible technique, an imaginative improviser with an original sound, one of the best and most important world guitarists of all time Pat Metheny is performing on 2 May in the Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall.

From 28 May to 2 June the 16th Festival of the European Short Story will be held in Zagreb and Rijeka. This year’s Festival is a portrait of Europe today, and also a story about what Europe has always been: a port, a space for meetings and exchanges, a point of departure and return, a landing place, the seat of diversity.

The Croatian History Museum on 30 March opened the touring exhibition “Dubrovnik during the Croatian War of Independence 1991-1995”. This is a guest exhibition organised by Dubrovnik's Museum of the Croatian War of Independence, the first museum of this kind in Croatia.
