Until February 26th 2017, the Museum of Arts and Crafts will feature the exhibition “The Nutcracker – The Most Beautiful Christmas Fairy Tale”. Ticket sales started even before the exhibition was opened due to major public interest for this unique museum presentation of the masterpiece of classical ballet.
For the second year in a row, the Backo Mini Express, the largest railway model in south-east Europe, is taking part in the Advent in Zagreb project. In a festive set-up it offers a reflection of reality on a small scale, and it is enjoyed by everyone who comes to see it.
Between December 8th and 11th , the Zrinjevac Pavilion and the Upper Town will be venues for the 1st Festival of Advent and Christmas Songs, featuring open air performances by choirs and vocal ensembles.

On February 9th 2017, Arena Zagreb will be the venue for a concert by the popular German-British pop band Gregorian, who will appear in the Croatian capital for the fifth time.
The greatest contemporary Celtic punk band, Dropkick Murphys, is once again returning to the Culture Factory, where they will perform a concert as part of their major European tour on February 7th 2017.
On March 4th 2017, Arena Zagreb will be the venue for a magnificent show, “Masha and the Bear on Ice”, based on the Russian animated film of the same name, which is attracting huge audiences worldwide.
After last year’s success, and with the hope of becoming a traditional event for gatherings of citizens and olive farmers, the 2nd Zagreb Oil Festival will feature a diverse and educational programme for the visitors to enjoy.
