Take a stroll to the European Square where the World on a Plate Festival, taking place between the 8th and 18th of September, will allow you to explore the flavours of global cuisines and possibly win a trip to an exotic destination.
Between the 15th and 25th of September, Strossmayer Square will be the venue for the first Zagreb Burger Festival, featuring the best burgers in town and heaps of fun.
A large exhibition dedicated to design and photography by authors Bachrach & Krištofić will open the Museum of Arts and Crafts’ autumn season, which will be marked by some very attractive exhibitions.
The cult British post punk band, Gang of Four, will visit Zagreb for the fourth time and hold a concert at Tvornica Kulture (The Culture Factory) on September 10th.
Between September 20th and January 8th 2017, the Art Pavilion will feature an exhibition of works by the renowned sculptor Alberto Giacometti as part of the “Greatest Sculptors of the 20th Century” cycle.
Do not miss the exhibition "Puna šaka brade" (A Fistful of Beard) at the Ethnographic Museum as it offers an interesting insight into old barbershops, as well as a diverse retro styled programme.

This year’s IJF Judo Grand Prix Zagreb 2016 will once again bring together many competitors from several countries who will again make it one of the greatest judo spectacles in the world.

Jesse Eisenberg (actor) spent the autumn in Zagreb in 2007: Zagreb is an incredible town. I enjoyed sightseeing the old parts of the town, and at night I went to clubs. I was thrilled that it was near Austria and Italy, so I visited Venice, Milan, Ljubljana, Graz, Split... over the weekends.

I am sorry that I have not had the opportunity to stay longer and see a little more, but the Jarun Lake and clubs impressed me, has all the elements of good entertainment.

I remember Zagreb as a beautiful city, and the people I met were very nice and offered me a warm welcome. The audience was wonderful as well. Really, that concert has been like a lovely souvenir.
