From now on, children will also have their international film festival – KinoKino, whose first edition will take place at Europa Cinema between March 16th and 20th, and it will feature a diverse film programme for children under the age of fifteen.
Two countdown clocks, one in Zagreb’s main square of Ban Josip Jelačić and the other in front of the Rijeka City Library, have been revealed to mark the official countdown to the beginning of the European Universities Games which will take place in the two cities between July 12th and 26th.
The 16th Naj, naj, naj Festival, organised by the Žar Ptica City Theatre, is scheduled to take place between March 18th and 23rd, just before the spring break. It will give children the opportunity to see the best Croatian and international plays performed by children’s theatres.
If you want to get to know Zagreb in a different way, as of the second half of March you will have the opportunity to do so riding in an electric powered replica of the 1905 Model T Ford, whose driver will also be your guide.
Zagreb is among thirty European city candidates for the title of the best destination for Chinese tourists. The contest is based on electronic voting, which is open until March 20th.
Between February 11th and 14th, the 5th edition of the festival of coffee and chocolate, Zagreb Coffee & Chocofest, will return to the place where it all began – the Square of Ban Josip Jelačić, but this year it will also take place at several other locations in the city.

Between February 16th and May 8th, the Klovićevi Dvori Gallery will feature a retrospective exhibition of works by Menci Clement Crnčić, one of the founders of Croatian landscape painting and a pioneer of modern graphic art in Croatia.
