Citizens of Zagreb and their guests will enjoy the sounds of classical music in the most beautiful park in Zagreb. The string of concerts entitled Little Classic will give Sundays a new sound, content, and joy.

The Zagreb Tourist Board presents excellent concerts of classical music to citizens of Zagreb and their guests. The promenade concerts will take place every Sunday from 17 July to 7 August at noon in the pavilion of Zrinjevac Park in the very centre of the city.

On 17 July, the Zagreb Soloists will perform works of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, Boris Popandopulo and Joseph Haydn. The following Sunday the Croatian Chamber Orchestra will perform works of Antonio Vivaldi, Astor Piazzolla, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Dmitri Shostakovich, Ennio Morricone and Pietro Mascagni and thrill admirers of classical music. On the third Sunday of the event, which is 31 July, the Zagreb Quartet will perform works of Antun Sokorčević, Johannes Brahms, Juro Tkalčić, George Gershwin and Antonín Dvořák. At the final concert on 8 August, admirers of classical music will have a chance to hear the Sebastian String Quartet performing works of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Josip Štolcer-Slavenski, Gjuro Eisenhuth, Viktor Košćica and Ivo Tijardović.

Great popularity and enthusiasm surrounding the recently held Zagreb Classic prove that citizens of Zagreb truly enjoy classical music.

The project Little Classic is a continuation of efforts to popularise classical music. It is also another excellent music content given to citizens and visitors of Zagreb in one of the most beautiful city parks by the Zagreb Tourist Board.
