    At Opatovina - The first craft beer pub

    The recent opening of the first craft beer pub at Opatovina Street, which, together with Petrica Kerempuh Square, was the venue of two very well attended craft beer festivals last summer, contributed to the image of the area as an increasingly popular craft beer location in Zagreb.

    Yammat FM’s big party - Marc Almond at Lauba

    On November 12th, Lauba will be the venue of a big party organized by Yammat FM, featuring a concert by Marc Almond, one of the greatest pop musicians of the 1980s. He will present his latest album – “The Velvet Trail”. Listeners of the radio station can also win tickets for the concert.

    A small-town wonder - The Lahti Symphony Orchestra at Lisinski

    During the upcoming season, fans of classical music will once again have plenty of opportunities to enjoy performances by renowned musicians at the Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall, where the fantastic Lahti Symphony Orchestra from Finland, and the talented Finnish violinist Elina Vähälä, will perform on October 20th.

    An international competition of young conductors - Applications from all over the world

    As many as 180 candidates from all over the world, including 30 women, have applied for a place in the Lovro von Matačić International Competition of Young Conductors, which will take place in Zagreb between October 5th and 11th.

    Jesse Eisenberg (actor) spent the autumn in Zagreb in 2007: Zagreb is an incredible town. I enjoyed sightseeing the old parts of the town, and at night I went to clubs. I was thrilled that it was near Austria and Italy, so I visited Venice, Milan, Ljubljana, Graz, Split... over the weekends.
