    Ivan Ladislav Galeta: “Point Zero Landscape”

    “Stari fijaker 900” becomes the first branded restaurant in Croatia

    “Stari fijaker 900”, a Zagreb restaurant owned and run by the Juras family, is the first Croatian restaurant that bears the Croatian Autochthonous Food Certificate. This means that at least 70 percent of the menu comprises original Croatian specialties; in this case, dishes typical of north-western Croatia. (more…)

    Girls, attention! Hurts are coming!

    Among the numerous world music stars who will be visiting Zagreb this autumn, we would like to present yet another treat: British synthpop duo, Hurts, will be performing in Zagreb on October 23rd. This will be the first time that this band, which various global media refer to as the “band for girls”, is performing in Croatia’s capital. (more)

    The International Festival of Theatre and Performance Arts

    The citizens and guests of Zagreb will soon be able to enjoy yet another edition of Perforacije: an international festival of performers, dancers and theatre artists who will present themselves to audiences at numerous locations around the city. Furthermore, the organizers of the festival, which will be taking place between the 20th and the 29th of October, have announced “The Night of Performances” as a special surprise. (more)

    90 Titles in Seven Programmes

    This year, the ninth edition of the international Zagreb Film Festival will be taking place between the 16th and the 23rd of October. It will feature 90 debut films by filmmakers from all over the world and the films have been divided into seven categories; some of the featured films are this year’s award winners from the Sundance and Cannes festivals. The festival will also feature a diverse concurrent programme. (more)

    Jesse Eisenberg (actor) spent the autumn in Zagreb in 2007: Zagreb is an incredible town. I enjoyed sightseeing the old parts of the town, and at night I went to clubs. I was thrilled that it was near Austria and Italy, so I visited Venice, Milan, Ljubljana, Graz, Split... over the weekends.
