In just several months, Zagreb has acquired three new private museums, the most recent of which, Lauba – People and Art House, opened in mid-June. This newest museum represents a unique concept of contemporary art and urban content.

As part of his World Tour 2011, charismatic musician Jean-Michael Jarre will hold a concert at Zagreb’s Arena on October 11th, for which tickets can already be purchased.

Until July 17th, the Art Pavilion will be the venue for an exhibition organized by the Croatian Photographic Union, entitled: ‘Zero Point of Meaning – Non-functional, Non-representational, Elementary, Experimental and Conceptual Photography in Croatia’.

The Zagreb Tourist Board has launched a project to organize dance evenings in Zrinjevac Park. Every Friday evening, between July 1st and September 2nd, there will be concerts and dancing to sixties tunes.

On September 20th, George Michael will hold his first concert at the Zagreb Arena. The charismatic British singer and songwriter will be performing as part of his “Symphonica: The Orchestral Tour”.

After last year’s excellent concert, members of one of the most exciting contemporary British bands, Skunk Anansie, have decided to once again perform in Zagreb as part of their latest promotional tour. The concert will be held on July 5th in the somewhat more intimate atmosphere of the Aquarius Club’s summer terrace.
