Dear friends and business partners!

Despite challenges that we are facing globally, the number of cultural and tourism events in Zagreb is increasing. Zagreb is the destination of a growing number of musicians and ensembles, which will mark the ending of this year and the start of the next.

The start of the preholiday and holiday season has a special meaning for all of us. It is widely believed that this is the very time when the streets and squares of Zagreb offer special atmosphere which is the reason why Advent in Zagreb won the award for the most beautiful Christmas market in Europe for three consecutive years.

This year even more than ever before, Advent will bring us back to childhood and stress the role of family and family values. A long tradition of making toys by hand, which marked childhood of many of us, is the topic and leitmotiv of this year’s Advent in Zagreb. There is no doubt that it will bring back memories and spur many to reminisce about their childhood and favourite toys but also stories which are passed from generation to generation.

Tradition is also the basis of holiday gastro customs. Visitors to our city will be able to experience rich and versatile gastro offer in which everyone will find something that suits their taste, of course all in line with epidemiological recommendations.
