The first Himalayan cave in Croatia has recently opened in Zagreb. It is intended for people who are seeking an alternative way of relaxing and relieving the effects of various diseases.
More than twenty tonnes of crystal rock salt from the depths of the Himalayas have been used to create the Himalayan cave salt room. Its effectiveness is particularly evident among especially sensitive people, as well as those suffering from various allergies, respiratory problems, and skin issues. The Himalayan salt crystals consist of as many as 88 elements from the periodic table, 84 of which can also be found in the human body.
Apart from alleviating the symptoms of various health disorders, the Himalayan salt crystals have beneficial effects on the immune system of the human organism; they also have excellent anti-stress properties. With each breath of air, the human organism receives valuable minerals such as iodine, magnesium, calcium, potassium, bromine and iron. Thanks to the beauty of the pink crystals, which radiate with a warm light, spending time in the cave also leaves an aesthetically pleasant impression.
Apart from Mondays, the salt cave is open every day between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. at Lipovečka 21, in Zagreb’s Trešnjevka neighbourhood.
