A new water park near Zagreb
One of the biggest water parks in this part of Croatia, the Adamovec Aquapark, with an array of indoor and outdoor facilities that spread across 15 thousand square metres of land and use natural water springs has been recently opened in the vicinity of Zagreb.
The Adamovec Aquapark is a new water park recently opened in the vicinity of Zagreb. Its construction cost 40 million kuna and it spreads across 15 thousand square metres of land. The aquapark is located in the small village of Adamovec in Prigorje, not far from Sesvete, and it was built on the location of the former swimming pools which benefited from natural sources of water. It is a family dream come true, said owner Stjepan Culifaj during the opening ceremony.
The complex consists of an array of indoor and outdoor facilities. Apart from the pool with a slide, the wave-pool, waterfalls, the wild-river pool, artificial islands and a Jaccuzzi, the aquapark also features a gym and a massage area, and it also offers visitors diverse wellness and fitness programmes. The water park also features a restaurant, while the entire complex was built in accordance with the highest ecologic standards, keeping renewable energy sources in mind, and utilizing the natural water springs of Prigorje.
