Alicia Keys in Zagreb

As part of the second leg of her European tour, Alicia Keys, the leading young soul and R&B singer, will perform at a concert in Zagreb in which she will promote the songs from her latest album “As I Am”.

Along with the many other world renown artists who have marked the autumn music scene in Zagreb, on October 10th Alicia Keys will perform at the Dom Sportova Sports Hall. The second half of the young musician's European tour kicks off with her concert in Zagreb where she will promote her new album “As I Am”.
Alicia Keys is considered one of today's leading young soul and R&B artists of her generation and has already sold more than 40 million albums. Her first studio album “Songs in A Minor” was released in 2001 and sold more than 50,000 copies in the first day after its release. Two years later she released her second incredibly successful studio album “The Diary of Alicia Keys” and the album “Unplugged” in 2005. She is also the winner of 9 Grammy Awards, 11 Billboard Music Awards and 3 American Music Awards. Besides being a successful musician, song writer and composer, she has also appeared in a few minor roles on television, and she is also known for her humanitarian work. She is the spokesperson for the non-profit organization “Keep A Child Alive”, which ensures medication against AIDS for children and families in Africa, as well as the organization “From the Ground Up”. On the occasion of celebrating World Day Against AIDS, she performed a duet with Bono, the singer of the legendary group U2, of the song by Peter Gabriel and Kate Bush, “Don't Give Up”. However, in their version the title was “Don't Give Up Africa”.
