An ice skating spectacle - Masha and the Bear on Ice at Arena Zagreb

On March 4th 2017, Arena Zagreb will be the venue for a magnificent show, “Masha and the Bear on Ice”, based on the Russian animated film of the same name, which is attracting huge audiences worldwide.

On March 4^th 2017,  Arena Zagreb will be the venue for a spectacular show, “Masha and the Bear on Ice”. Children  will now have the opportunity to see the protagonists of this world famous  Russian animated film in a show on ice, which consists of more than 30 acrobats, dancers and professional ice-skaters.

The animated series, “Masha and the Bear”, is a story of true friendship and care for others, as well as mutual understanding and tolerance. It follows the adventures of the girl Masha who got lost in the forest and came across a bear’s house. The bear takes care of her from then on, but since she is a playful and curious girl they get into various comical adventures together, which leads to tension and chaos. However, thanks to the bear’s protective behaviour towards Masha, as well as his calmness, everything works out fine in the end. This popular animated film, based on a Russian folk tale, is nowadays very sought after around the globe, and one of  the episodes of the cartoon has more than a billion views on YouTube. 

The fantastic, authorised show “Masha and the Bear on Ice” will be performed in the Croatian language. After it premiered in 2015 in Slovakia, it has been performed in many other European countries, and now the children of Zagreb will also have the  opportunity to enjoy this beautiful ice fairy tale. There will be two performances, starting at 1.30 p.m. and 5 p.m. 

Tickets can be purchased via Eventim, and the prices range between 90 and 250 kuna, while children under the age of three can attend the show for free.
